Great microwave, very big
It is quite large compared to my older Hamilton Beach microwave, it really takes up a lot of space, but I love all the space it gives me on the inside so I rearranged my kitchen countertops to make room. This microwave is awesome has lots of features, most I haven't even tried yet, so may update later.

Mechanical Difficulties
I purchased this microwave twice. The first time I purchased this model, it died right after the 1st year. I had purchased the warranty and they refunded me the original price. I then purchased the same one again (which had gone up in price) with the warranty. The second one went out in 6 months with an electrical fire. They did refund me the purchase price. The price for the second time was 125.00, now it is 169.00. Of course I will never buy Hamilton Beach again! Beware not worth it!!!!

    Great microwave
    I'm very happy with my new microwave. I love that it has a door handle verses a push button, and that the control panel has white button's where the numbers are so that I'm able to see what I'm pressing when there is low lighting in the room.

    It's raining in my microwave
    THIS IS THE WORSE MICROWAVE...I HAVE HAD TO RETURN AND EXCHANGE 3 TIMES.. THEY ALL DID THE SAME RUSTED OUT WITHIN 6 MTHS...IT RAINS AND SWEATS SO BADLY....I GOT A STORE CREDIT AND LOOKING FOR ANOTHER BRAND...8 HAD TO FIGHT FOR THAT... GOT THE BIGGEST RUN AROUND BETWEEN HAMILTON BEACH AND WALMART..IT HEATS UP GREAT..LOOKS GREAT... BUT I'M NOT PAYING ALL THIS MONEY FOR NOTHING AND THE UNIT WAS A MOTHER'S DAY GIFT FOR MY MOM...DON'T BUY IT.. I'M TELLING YOU....

    9 mos of bliss then a glitch
    We've actually been extremely pleased with this since we received it on 04/14/2021, but sadly, today, problems arose. For unknown reasons, the light does not turn on when opening the door, however it comes on once start is pressed. And if the the door is opened before time is up, upon closing it again, it automatically starts again without having to press start, which is not a normal function. Additionally, it'll run till the time is out unless you cancel it. I unplugged it for about 40 minutes and now seems to be working normally. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

    Great microwave at a fair price
    I purchased the 1.6 cu ft oven to replace my five-year old 1.1 cu ft Hamilton Beach that still works well, as I needed a larger oven. This one arrived in two days, just as promised, and worked well right out of the box. It cooks evenly and fast. Looks good on the counter. Controls are simple and intuitive. The increased interior space is a real plus. I was able to purchase on sale and this is a fabulous microwave for the price. Very satisfied after almost a month of use.

    Excellent microwave oven at a fabulous price!
    1) It can handle a 5 qt covered casserole dish with room to spare. (see pic) 2) It's powerful and will boil your cup of water quickly. 3) It's really very sharp looking. 4) I was prepared to spend a $100 more for a microwave, but there was no need. This zapper has everything you'll ever need. 5) The entire family is very happy with it!

    Appearance could be better but it works well
    A little bulkier than I had hoped and it slides around when I open the door. I will have to put some kind of skid resister under it to keep it still. The door was not completely aligned when I received it either. It closes fine but the silver metal plates around the door don't align with the ones above and below the number pad. Could be better aligned. It works well though.

    Works great and looks great. Only reason for my 4 star rating is because the top of the unit was dented when I opened the undamaged box it was in. Clearly was damaged before packaging. But it works great and I had to wait 2wks to get it, so I wasn't waiting for a replacement.
