Horrible. Don't waste your time.

    Lasted Just A Year
    Our last microwave lasted over 20 years. This piece of junk just went out and will not heat, after only a year and a half. Just past the warranty ending, so we cannot get it replaced. Seems many people are in the same boat. Don't post a glowing review so fast. These don't last. Junk.

    HATE IT!
    Hate it! First, it's bigger than my previous microwave, even though the interior is the same size. So it doesn't fit on my microwave cart. The timer is awful. You set it and it doesn't show the timer after a few seconds. It goes back to the time clock. When it reaches zero, it just has one short beep. So that function is ridiculous to use. The interior is rusting already, and we've only had it 4 months. Pressing numbers 1 through 6 sets the cooking time for that number of minutes. If you want 45 seconds, you have to press "cook", then enter 45. However, the buttons can be overly sensitive and you end up with 44:55 for your cooking time. But sometimes they don't respond at all. The display is also VERY bright blue, which makes your eyes hurt if the kitchen isn't brightly lit. I honestly do not want this microwave anymore, and we plan on buying a different brand after the holidays.

    Worked Good for Three Months
    The microwave ran fine for over three months. Then it would beep and quit running after one to two minutes. When the power to the unit was disconnected and reconnected, the unit would run fine for two to three days and then would again beep and stop running after one to two minutes.

    Falling apart after 2 years
    Bought in June 2019. Was working fine for quite a while but the last few months the bottom of it under the turntable has tore up. Not sure why this is happening. Is getting worse and worse with each turn. We're going to have to buy another one as this is two years old and no longer under warranty and not even sure this would be cornered. Although would be happy to exchange for another one. Disappointed in Hamilton Beach. What would cause this?

    Cheap and doesn't last long
    Cheap and doesn't last long! This microwave lasted exactly 1 year and 2 weeks. My husband turned it on yesterday and it started to throw out sparks. And no we didn't put metal in it. About 6 months ago I noticed the inside started to peel and condensation started to hold inside the microwave. Don't waste your money!!

    Won't last even a year...
    Bought this microwave first week of April 2020. Today, it died. Makes normal noise, does not heat or defrost as of February 13, 2021. Piece of crap...

    Panel nd light for the vision impaired
    Horrible!!! The writing on the panel will not light up even when opened. I don't like to turn lights on when I enter my kitchen. NOW I have to TAKE it to the store for an exchange.!

    I love this microwave! I love that it has the sensor cooking so my 7yr old can easily use it without having to check to see if it's warm enough and restart it. I like that it has the handle to open instead of the button because we started to have problems with the last microwave and the button would sometimes get stuck not only on the outside put on the inside also. Great purchase!
